Redsea records limited site and recommendation analytics so we can understand conversion, find ranking problems, and make searches more useful.
What we record
When you visit or search, Redsea may record the page viewed, your message, the shopping requirements extracted from it, the selected market, coarse country or region, device and browser families, the recommendations returned, and whether you followed a recommendation to a retailer. This helps us understand conversion, test ranking quality, and find product needs that are underserved.
How we reduce personal data
Search sessions use an anonymous hash. We do not intentionally store raw IP addresses, precise location, or the full browser user-agent string. Email addresses, phone numbers, and common credential formats are automatically removed from recorded search text.
How the data may be used
We use search data to improve recommendation quality, evaluate products, and develop aggregated or de-identified research and commercial insights. We do not sell identifiable personal search histories.
Your controls
Redsea respects Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals for recommendation telemetry. You can also avoid including names, contact details, or other personal information in a shopping request.
